Guitar Fetish
Guitar fetish aka GFS is becoming very popular with budget guitar and bass players due to there wide variety of hardware, electronics, pickups, and accessories. Their biggest claim to fame is the GFS pickups which are cheap but almost sound just like the high end Seymour Duncans and DiMarzio pickups everyone uses for half of the price. They also sell guitars and guitar kits that overall are on par with Rondomusic guitars in the same price range.
When ever upgrading a cheap strat or just trying to get something that sounds better than those cruddy infinity pickups in the cheaper ibanez guitars people are often pointed towards GFS to do this, they have a variety of tuning machines *locking and non locking*, bridges, knobs, prewired pickguards, and other things that can help you turn your guitar into something of your own design.
But what if you do not want to upgrade any of your guitars? Then maybe you should look at their line of pedals, they have a lot of pedals to help you mold your tone to something unique that you can call your own. Perhaps you are happy with your tone and your current guitar and just want a good second guitar, well then look at their Xavier brand of guitars, they have a style for everyone. If that is not good enough for you then just pick up one of the many kits they sell and build a guitar that is made specifically to fit what you like and want out of your instruments.

Guitar Heads
This site is much like guitar fetish only much more METAL. They focus more on things that would appeal to metal guitar players and in my opinion have a much nicer assortment of custom hardware. They also sell their own brand of pickups as well including a active set that cost roughly $80 for set of EMG clones.
Guitarheads.net is all ways a good place to look when you are trying to overhaul your current guitar and need it to be just a little more brutal. Their site is well laid out and they usually have video or audio demonstrations of the pickups at the bottom of each pickups page. They also sometimes sell Mighty Might guitar necks and 18v mod harness kits for EMG and GH active pickups.
